What Will Halloween Be Like In 2020?

Unlike, any other Halloween from the past years. The guidelines are going to look a bit different this year. This is because of Covid-19 that is among the world. Some people aren't even going out for trick-or-treating this year. There was a poll on ABC News, where 48% of people were going to celebrate Halloween this year but they were going to stay in their homes. An 22% of people were not celebrating Halloween at all this year. The remainder of the people were going to celebrate Halloween in some way. The CDC suggests that people stay within 6 feet apart and to let 2 to 3 people go up to 1 house at once to grab candy. The CDC also suggests that if your county is under high covid-19 risk than to avoid haunted homes, festivals, party gatherings, and even trick-or-treating all together. If your county is under moderate risk for covid-19 than too one-way tick-or-treat and to have parties outside of your house with protective masks.

Remarkably, Halloween is still being celebrated with at least some old fashion trick-or-treating mix in. With social distancing in play, some people have created a candy shoot to stay a safe distance from kids but still pass out candy. The candy shoot is a piece of plastic tubing where candy disperses at each end of the tube. Another way people are safely passing out candy is having a Halloween handbag. The Halloween handbag is a 8 to 12 inch handle with a hand attached to the end with a bag in the palm.

Not only is it a bit different Halloween this year but there is also Something spectacular that is happening on the day of Halloween. An that is the first blue moon on Halloween since WW2. A blue moon isn't where the moon is actually blue but its when there is a extra full moon at the end of October. This event happens once every 19 years. Other blue moons have happened on Halloween before but not the whole world could see it and that’s what makes this upcoming blue moon such a treat. No, this is no trick the whole world will be able to see this spectacular bright full moon. Will you go out for trick-or-treating this year with a spooky moon and a spooky virus among the world?
