The year of the bad time (aka 2020)

It all started on January 1 the new year new me times the time of becoming a new person at least that's what everyone thought it started well it was fine then all of the sudden a wildfire spread in Cali and everyone was running from home and animals were dying it was just a mess it calmed down is what we thought. One day we watched the news and a new sickness called COVID 19 was a deadly disease, but they didn't know what it was, but then they figured out it was spreading all out from china cases popping left and right. Now it's spreading through the United States no one knows what's going on there, they're scared, and the government is telling everyone to stay indoors and wash their hands then something else happens. Now we thought oh nothing else could happen we are safe is what we thought again. January 26, 2020, a legend Kobe Bryant has died in a helicopter crash. It was devastating; it was so upsetting a guy that was inspiring was gone.

People think that it's an upcoming occurrence because in 1820 there was a disease called First Cholera Pandemic. It was a disease in the gut caused by dirty water and bad food but if it’s not treated it can lead to rapid dehydration. In 1920 the Spanish Flu this flu resulted in 500 million deaths this flu went down in history it was crazy. It was founded in Europe, the United States, and parts of Asia. Like us, the people had to wear mask in school and everywhere

Then that leaves us back with COVID 19. Now I’m gonna ask a couple of people how weird and how they feel about this

Me: what do you think about this year ?

Mom: well for right now it kind of stinks but things only can get better is what I hope

Me: what about this covid 19 stuff

Mom: well this has really affected me. when i was working at my old job they were not doing anything to stop it and that's what was scaling me for my family so i would take a shower as soon as i got home so you guys wouldn't get sick

Me: do you ever think it's gonna stop or still going

Mom: yes and no because yes it will die down but u never know if this is gonna be a yearly thing like the flu u have season for the flu what if we have a season for this they just have to be careful right now but the cases are dying down and that's really good

Me: are u scared of covid 19

Mom: no but I'm concerned for other people like my grandma because she already has bad lungs and if she gets that she is done and that's what I'm

scared about

This brings me to my final paragraph we all have to hope and pray that it won't get worst and we have to stay safe and not touch a faces and wash are hands and we can hope that the next year is gonna be better and its all cleared up and we will have no worry about it.
