The Murders of Ted Bundy
Who is Ted Bundy?
Ted Bundy was one of the world’s most feared men of all time. Why would this be, well, Ted was a serial killer in the 1970s. He killed 30 people in the states of California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, and Florida. Was he always a bad person though? No, he was actually a family man and had a wife and stepdaughter who loved each other dearly. Ted Bundy would kidnap, rape, beat, and then kill his victims and usually succeeded this with his looks. He was said to stand as a charming and educated predator.
What Were His Punishments?
After the rape and murders of many young women, he was sentenced to the electric chair in 1989 in Florida. His family was obviously shocked that such a loving person would do this to innocent people. He was sentenced to death two times before he was actually sent to the electric chair. Ted Bundy’s mother stood by him even through her own son’s death. He had recently died back in 2012 and Ted would have probably still been alive today. The chair he died in sits in Florida to this day.
Not So Fun Facts
Ted actually killed woman who looked or acted like his ex-girlfriend from years ago. He had also acted as his own lawyer for some time since who worked with law enforcement. No one knows who Ted Bundy’s father is for it is uncertain. When Bundy was born she was actually told that his mother was his big sister and later found out otherwise. People claim that His childhood home is actually severely haunted. He once rescued a young boy from drowning, he was told to be a helpful person when needed. Ted asked one of his witnesses to marry him during the Kimberley Leach’s trial (12 years old raped and murdered). He never pleaded guilty or said sorry to any of his victim’s families. None of his stories ever matched up with the original ones Bundy told to his interviewers. It is actually unknown how many people total he killed its claimed to be 30 or more. Maybe one day we will know the true stories of what happened, but these families will never get their sorry. If this ever happens again I would recommend taking things seriously and never go with strangers or people you don’t know.
