Social Media Influencer Starts Her Own Business

Social media influencers have recently been branching out from what they’re known as to be doing for their careers and have begun following their passions of doing things other than just being an influencer. One of these social media influencers is Catherine Paiz McBroom who has just recently come out with her own skin care line. She is the wife of Austin McBroom and has a large following of over 15 million on their family Youtube channel “The Ace Family” where they often show the lives of them and their three children.

Last year Catherine announced in one of their youtube videos that she had a big project she was working on and was very passionate about. Towards the end of 2020 she started hinting at the release of a personal skincare line she has been working on for the past 3 year. In one of their videos, Catherine talked about how her skincare line came about and the inspiration for the name “1212 Gateway.” Catherine claims to see the number 1212 often and feels as if it is her angel number. Catherine explains in the video that she believes and has been told the number 1212 represents spiritual growth and pushing yourself to do something out of your comfort zone and growing as an individual.

Catherine is passionate about her skincare line and wanted a scientist to help her that she thought would best fit the position. She had met with a couple different scientists before choosing Hardip Kalsi to create skin care products with. Both Catherine and Hardip had suffered with skin problems at a younger age and had grown a passion for wanting to help others find their skin care path and create products for all types of skin. The ingredients found in the products are natural and free of many toxins found in other skincare products.

Catherine is far from the only influencer who has started their own business. We saw Kim Kardashian West start her own beauty and fragrance brand while also creating a mobile game “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood”. She has just recently started her own shapewear line “Skims.”

Beyond their social media platforms, influencers have been following their career passions and starting their own businesses. Influencers want to be known and remembered for more than just their fame.
