Senior Spotlight: Lauren Montgomery
High School Graduation. One of many special occasions that mark a young individual’s life. Grade school may seem like a person’s entire life, but in reality grade school is only a small segment of it. When high schooler’s graduate, no current student really knows where they will go or what they will do in the future. All any student knows is that they are going somewhere and doing something. One of the seniors currently graduating LVHS, Lauren Montgomery, agreed to answer a few questions about her past and future experiences.
Interview of Lauren Montgomery:
Me: How are you doing in your final days of high school?
Lauren: I’m feeling a bit stressed.
Me: On a scale of 1-10 how ready are you to graduate?
Lauren: I’d say around a 7.5.
Me: Nice. What is your favorite memory from LVHS?
Lauren: One time my freshman year, I fell down the school stairs really, really hard. A teacher approached me and asked if my chromebook was okay.
Me: That’s crazy!
Lauren: I know!
Me: That’s horrible! Aside from that, will you miss anything from LVHS?
Lauren: I will miss seeing my best friend Kate [Donchess] everyday.
Me: Awww! Will you miss anything else?
Lauren: The chicken, ranch, bacon Bosco Pizzas they served at lunch.
Me: Nice. Did you ever bring anything to school with you to help you get through the day?
Lauren: I always have to have my water.
Me: Is there a piece of wisdom you’d like to pass along to current and future underclassmen?
Lauren: “Nobody Cares.”
Me: As far as your future, what are your plans after high school?
Lauren: I plan to attend Ohio Wesleyan College and become a kindergarten teacher.
Me: Is this what you are most excited about after high school?
Lauren: Most definitely, yes.
