As summer is quickly approaching, many of our high school’s Seniors are left reflecting on these moments they will forever cherish in their hearts. One Senior in particular had a lot to say regarding her high school experience and how it has impacted her to this day.
Interview with: Kate Donchess
Me: Good morning! As the year will soon be coming to a close for you and the class of 2019, I know there has to be a lot on your mind; however, if it’s okay with you, I’d love to ask you a few questions.
Kate: Absolutely.
Me: Great! So, how have you been in your final days of high school? Are you stressed, scared, excited?
Kate: I am ready to be done. So ready.
Me: So, on a scale from 1-5 of readiness to graduate, you would say you’re a 5?
Kate: 100%
Me: Nice. Looking back, what is your favorite memory of high school?
Kate: I would have to say looking forward to graduate, as I’ve always been excited to see what I am capable of doing outside of LV.
Me: That’s awesome. *Laughs* Not what I expected to hear. On another note, what has been your favorite school lunch?
Kate: BOSCO PIZZA!
Me: *Laughs* I think many would agree. Other than that, what do you think you are going to miss the most about high school?
Kate: Definitely my friends.
Me: Yea, I probably would too. What is something that you bring everyday to help you get through?
Kate: Snacks. For sure. Always bring snacks.
Me: Nice! Okay, sorry. I just have a few more questions.
Kate: Sounds good.
Me: Okay, and my last questions are what are your plans after high school and what are you most excited for about your future?
Kate: Well, after I graduate, I plan to go to the Ohio State University in Newark and major in marketing, and I am most excited to reach the goals I’ve had for myself since I was young.
Me: That’s really awesome. Thank you so much for taking the time to talk with me and I wish you the best for what is in store for your future.
