Senior Spotlight: Justin Tritt


Finally! This month is May and at Licking Valley High School, many seniors are going to be graduating and entering the real world. Graduating high school marks the end of the beginning, the coming-of-age ceremony that many younger generations envy. For underclassmen, graduation seems like such a far ways off. However, lots of seniors are having mixed signals about starting a new chapter in life. One of these seniors, Justin Tritt, took the time to answer questions that many people wonder about present seniors.

Senior Interview: Justin Tritt

Me: How are you doing in your final days of HS?

Justin: I am finished with all my projects, and I am ready to graduate

Me: Are you stressed about your future?

Justin: I was stressed but not anymore

Me: On a scale of 1-5, how ready are you to graduate?

Justin: 4

Me: What was your favorite memory from high school?

Justin: When our marching band went to the Marching Band Nationals in 2017

Me: Many say that our school lunches are not that delicious. What was your favorite school lunch?

Justin: I really liked the burrito bar. It’s one of the best lunches

Me: You are a senior now, getting ready to graduate. What will you miss the most about high school?

Justin: I’ll miss the friends that I have made over the years.

Me: Did you bring anything like snacks or supplies that helped you get through the day?

Justin: Nope

Me: What advice can you give to upcoming freshman or underclassmen as a senior?

Justin: Some people feel that the honors/majoring is pointless, but it helps in colleges and jobs and teaches to work above expectation.

Me: What are your plans after high school?

Justin: To study information technology at COTC

Me: What are you most excited about for the future?

Justin: To get a job doing something I enjoy

Me: Is there anything else that you would like to share about yourself and your journey through high school?

Justin: Nope.

Many seniors fear what comes after high school, but Justin is ready to take on his future. He is well prepared and plans to go to college after high school.
