Eerie Hum Rings Out Across the World

In Hawaii on April 3rd, 2018, strange sounds coming from the sky were recorded. As it turns out, these sounds have been heard from all around the world. These noises have been described as trumpet-like, although, in some videos it sounds more booming and horn-like. Some call the noises “The Worldwide Hum,” as it’s a worldwide phenomena. These hums seem to have no explanation and are a mystery. Dr. Glen Mcpherson has been creating a map with marked locations of where this hum has been heard, although, it is self reported data, red dots cover all of the continents.

Possible explanations of The Hum could be comets, military aircrafts breaking the speed of sound, natural noises from the earth, and even trumpets of the apocalypse. Comets don’t seem to match the same sound as The Hum, asteroids only make one large crashing sound, whereas the strange sound from the sky is multiple trumpet sounds. Military aircrafts breaking the sound barrier is also another explanation that just doesn't seem to fit The Hum. When these aircrafts break the barrier they make a large booming sound, not the trumpet sound heard. NASA gave an explanation saying these noises were coming naturally from earth, that the earth is constantly ringing, especially after earthquakes. They say this ringing can last for months after seismic activity, and that the frequencies the earth rings at are so low we never hear them, so possibly these frequencies can get just high enough we can hear them. Last, but not least, many preachers and churches are saying this ringing is a sign of the apocalypse. In the bible, it states that at the end of times, seven trumpets will ring out as a foretelling of the end.

Take this article with a grain of salt, or a bucket, many sources weren’t very credible. In fact, in one article, a commenter reported seeing family members freak out about videos of the phenomena, and simply recorded a video of herself playing similar sounds on a laptop behind her. Showing just how easy it really is to create something like this. I’d like to know what your opinion is, do you think it’s a sign of the apocalypse or just the earth ringing?
