Art with Mrs. Rinser

I once was going through a hard time with Art Class. For some people, that may seem surprising, but it's true. Ever since I was little, I drew my dad, or my mom, pictures, and my dad even still has all of the drawings I made since I was little store in a box. There are over a hundred of them. I looked back on them and thought to myself “what was I doing?” It was so funny to look back at those and realize that I put so much work into art since I was little to succeed. I realized life without art would be a life I don’t want to live in because art is everything to me. My art teachers through years have given me their time to help me understand concepts and how to do certain techniques through art. I am grateful for my sister as well, she showed me what art is, she bought me my first drawing pad and ever since I never let it go of drawing.

Many people love something or are inspired by different people, and it leads to loving/valuing something for the rest of their life, or maybe they were inspired to do more than one thing by different people or the same person. Mrs. Rinser was once an art therapist before she decided to take the job of being an art teacher. She has loved art all her life and continues to love it and grows to love it more and more each day. She shares her passion to her students of all grades in high school. Not one of her students has failed to learn something in her class. In fact, many students have hit higher levels of art than they had when they got to her class.

Many people don’t think art is for them, but maybe after experiencing her class they will see differently and understand that all art does not require total skill. There are different types of art, and maybe one of them is right for you! Maybe crafts if you don’t like Drawing; or Ceramics; or maybe if you do like Drawing take Drawing 1 or 2. There are multiple things you can do in art. Enjoy them because it's pretty amazing what she does in her class.

Mrs. Rinser would always help kids grow in art and help them reach for the stars! She loves all of her students and would do anything to make them happy each and everyday in her class, such as if she feels a student is upset she will talk to them until she feels they are okay. She would do anything to see a smile on one of our faces.
