Daily Hallways In Licking Valley High School
Walking through the halls in Licking Valley, you will see a lot of different types of people. The different groups that you might come upon while being in Licking Valley High school might shock you: the screaming, rambunctious jocks, the couples on every corner that you turn and finally the kids running down the hallways not caring who they bump into.
In between 8th and 9th periods, a crowd of football players stand in the middle of the hall in front of Mrs. Adkins and Mr. Hatfield’s rooms. You would know if you saw them, because they are always screaming and taking up way more of the hallway than needed. They are also pushing each other around and making one another trip over everyone in the halls.
Between basically any class and any hall that you turn down, you can see couples on every corner, not even talking to one another, just staring longingly at each other. They also usually don’t pay attention to how they are messing up the flow of people walking down the halls or trying to get around one another to get up the stairs.
Also walking down the halls you will notice that some people run, without caring who they are about to run into. Typically these people are freshman, but every class has at least a few kids that do not understand the concept of walking and watching where they’re going while in the halls.
A way that people could fix how the halls are, is by recognizing they are a piece of the problem and fixing it. If one person a day realizes that they contribute to the problem, then eventually we will have solved everyone acting, rambunctious and screaming while running down the halls.
