March Madness

March Madness will be happening at Licking Valley. It is a 3-on-3 tournament that is double Elimination. It will be held March 16th at 9:00 P.M. The profits for this event goes to the Wyatt Adkins.

Licking Valley High school is hosting a 3 on 3 March Madness Tournament. There will be 18 teams and they are, Chicken Noodle Hoop, 7 ½ Feet, 2 ½ Dads, 0-76ers, 3 ½ Men, Black Nights, Average Joes, The Bricklayers, Dilly Dilly, Jelly Fam, Recreational Hazard, Prancercise, Dream team, Lettuce Rock U2, Victorias secrets, The Tune Squad, The Rookies, and BBB. The tournament will end around 12. Each game is 10 minutes long with a running clock.

The tournament is double elimination, so if you lose you will go to the losers’ bracket, and then if you lose after that, you are done. The money that is made from the tournament goes to the Wyatt Adkins Program raises money for other kids with heart problems and the park they are building In Hanover it is going to be handicap accessible . The tournament is really fun for people to get out and watch some people ball up. It is free to get in if you buy a T-shirt ahead of time or $2 at the door. Donations are welcomed too.

March Madness is a good time to come out and watch your fellow classmates play basketball. The money goes to a good cause. It would be nice if a bunch of people came to watch and help raise some money.
