The Thunder go boom
The OKC Thunder has been on fire the last two weeks. The OKC Thunder are on an 8 game win streak. The Thunder has made this streak possible by playing together and performing at a high level.
The Thunder big three Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, and Paul George all are starting to play the way they can play. The Thunder has been beating teams by ten plus only having a close game against the Nets winning by one. The Thunder's best game was against the struggling Cleveland Cavaliers, but still, score 148 points as a team the Thunder starting five out almost outscoring the Cavs, whole team.
OKC 8 game win streak is a good thing because it shows that finally, after about half the season the Thunder are starting to click. OKC Thunder’s big three is leading the way for the Thunder. Russell Westbrook is leading the team in scoring by averaging 25.5 points per game also leading in assists and rebounds with almost 10 each game. This is helping the Thunder a lot with their wins. Russell Westbrook also had three 40 point games on this streak. Even though the Thunder streak was broken in the 9th game, it was a tough loss but it was still close.
This story doesn’t really matter all too much to Valley students it does to some other Thunder fans we have here in Licking Valley. Even though the Thunder’s streak was broken, they are still starting to click and to play as a team, hopefully, we can see more streaks like this into the future.
