Disney Star Arrested

Once again, a Disney star has been arrested. According to USA Today, actor Adam Hicks has been arrested for four counts of armed robbery in Burbank, California. On January 25, 2018, the actor from television shows and films held his victims at gunpoint demanding money, phones, and other valuables.

Adam Hicks is a 25 year old actor and rapper that worked with Disney on television shows and movies. Wikipedia shows that Adam was a feature actor in the hit movie Lemonade Mouth, and two different television shows on Disney XD, Zeke and Luther and Pair of Kings. He also starred in other lesser-known Disney films along with the popular film How to Eat Fried Worms. Hicks created music for different films, along with the theme song for Mighty Med.

Now that Hicks has been detained, his court date is set for February 16. Until then,TMZ reports that he has a bond of $350,000 dollars. If he is found guilty, the famous actor and musician faces up to 60 years in prison, leaving him to be 95 years old if he lived long enough to see his freedom once again. His girlfriend and partner in crime, Danni Tamburo, has been bailed out since her arrest and faces up to 15 years of imprisonment.

Disney was likely a part of the life of every child in the middle of the 20th and 21st Centuries. Now, yet another feature actor from Disney shows and movie has faced legal problems for mistakes they should not have made. Debby Ryan (Jessie), Shia LaBeouf (Even Stevens), David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place), and many more fall into this category. The people who created the childhoods of millions of children around the globe are having their reputations ruined. Will Disney stars continue to cycle through crime? Only time will tell.
