Newark Shootings

In Newark, Ohio people were shot and killed when opening their door late one night. A man was going around in an apartment complex and knocking on people’s doors, and whoever opened their doors to him was shot. The man shot, but did not ki

ll, anyone, and when the police arrived the man already fled the scene and was not found.

There were helicopters and police everywhere searching for him. The shooting happened on January 17th at 7:30pm in the Summer House Apartments. A man was reported to have a gun and trying to kill people.

This story matters to Valley students and people because even if its people from Newark or its a Newark shooting, Valley kids could have family there in Newark. Even if its a Newark shooting, it could be someone from Valley that went to Newark and shot or tried to kill people.
