Accidents Haunt Licking County Roads

The State Highway patrol reports twenty nine people tragically perished in fatal car accidents in 2017 on Licking county roads. Not only were the individuals lost, but also these losses are impacting small communities.

Most of these fatal car disasters are on highly populated roads such as 62, 16 and in the city.

However, why are so many individuals getting involved in tragic car accidents? The Newark Advocate wrote that more people are traveling, which means more people are on the roads, and making them more dangerous.

Licking Valley Students have been affected by these tragic car disasters as a few Licking Valley alumni have been involved in car accident, which has affected the whole community.
